How to play Nexo Thunder

Navigate two maps, activate checkpoints, manage ammunition and prepare for each boss.

Two maps and unlocking

Start with Map 1, finish its on-screen objectives and completion sequence to unlock Map 2, Flooded Research Valley. Defeating a boss does not replace any remaining completion steps the game asks for. Map 2 has a flooded landscape, research structures, its own enemies and a different boss; unlock progress belongs to the current browser.

Checkpoints and five defeats

Read the active checkpoint and next objective on the map. A checkpoint follows its area’s conditions: reach it and finish any required objective or blocking enemies. If it has not activated, read the instruction rather than simply running past the marker.

Both maps use the same rules: the player is defeated after four damaging hits, and can retry from an activated checkpoint. After five defeats since that checkpoint, the current map restarts. A restart on Map 2 does not send you back to Map 1.

Ammunition, sentries and bosses

Use the reload control shown in the game when the magazine is empty. Reserve ammunition is unlimited, but the magazine still needs reloading; unlimited reserve does not mean uninterrupted firing. Find cover before reloading, especially when sentries create crossfire.

Use target markers and health bars to distinguish sentries from dinosaurs. Against a boss, prioritise avoiding attacks and leaving space to move. Standing still to shoot can use up your four-hit allowance before the next magazine is ready.

Controls and sound

Use the in-game control legend for movement, jump, fire and reload on your device. Touch devices use the on-screen buttons. Menu or Escape pauses play; browser fullscreen needs a user gesture and support varies. Audio starts after interaction and can be disabled with the sound control.

No account automatically transfers checkpoints or map unlocks to another device. Blocked storage or clearing site data can remove progress. For a bug report, include the map, checkpoint, device and actions you tried so we can reproduce the correct area.
