How to play
Slide with arrows, WASD, swipe, or direction buttons. Equal tiles merge once per move. Reach 2048 and keep playing. The game ends when no move remains.
Try an example
For example, sliding the row 2, 2, 4, empty to the left produces 4, 4, empty, empty before the new tile appears. It does not produce 8 immediately: a tile can merge only once in a single move. A later left move can combine those two 4s.
